Roles/Rights
Admins have full control over the site. Their responsibilities include: installing/activating/deleting plugins and themes, creating and editing posts/pages, managing users and assigned roles, and moderating comments.
Authors are content creators with publishing rights. Their responsibilities include writing, editing, and publishing their own posts and uploading media files. They are not allowed to edit or delete other users posts and have limited access to site settings.
Contributors have an entry-level content role. Their responsibilities include writing and editing their own posts (but cannot publish) and submitting posts for review by an editor. They cannot upload media files or edit/delete a published posts.
Editors are content managers with broad publishing control. Their responsibilities include publishing, editing, and deleting any posts/pages, moderating comments, and managing categories and tags. They cannot access site-wide settings like plugins or themes.
